Tibiscus University, Timisoara, Romania

Subsidy is an important instrument in achieving economic and social objectives and it must be considered a short term necessity that has to respect the ensemble interests of the economy, the producers and consumers’ interests and not to entail the state budget.

A thorough analysis of the financing possibilities (subsidy) is important for any entity, but the choice has to be made based on the recommendation of the domain specialists. No price is too high if it ensures you business continuity.

Tibiscus University, Timisoara, Romania

The main problems retail market and FMCG (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) have experienced in 2009 were probably decreased consumption rates, money-flow blockage, more difficult access to finance, financing cost increase, insolvency and bankruptcy. The fall of the durable goods market was followed in 2009 by a decrease in consumer goods sales, the main consequences of the drop in revenues being that all the market actors - producers, distributors or retailers - were forced to take emergency measures.

Emotional labor

Tibiscus University, Timisoara, Romania

Emotional labor involves managing emotions so that they are consistent with organizational or occupational display rules, regardless of whether they are discrepant with internal feelings.

The intended effects of these emotional displays are on other, targeted people, who can be clients, customers, subordinates or co-workers. There is empirical evidence that higher levels of emotional labor demands are not uniformly rewarded with higher wages.

THE IMPLICATIONS OF THE CRISIS OVER THE ROMANIAN HEALTH SERVICE MARKET

Tibiscus University, Timisoara, Romania

Despite the recession, in Romania, there are several sectors in Romania which have registered a growing cadence during the first semester of 2009, compared to the same period of the last year. According to some studies, the most important industries in the local business environment identify 6 markets with an advance reported in the first 6 months of this year.

Health services organizations are active in a dynamic environment, which creates diverse problems, but also offers opportunities. Obliged to adapt to this environment, to cope with the appearing changes, the organization must have a perspective vision, all its stocks must be subordinated to this vision in a unitary policy, the marketing policy. The marketing mix takes account of how the resources of the organization are trained, the proportions in which they will enter the global effort of the enterprise, to reach the desired effects.

This paper focuses on the development of the global economy, often referred to as globalization, and the importance of high quality translation. The importance that communication has on organizations that conduct business on an international level should not be underestimated. THE AUTOMATIC STABILIZER OF THE FISCAL REVENUE IN ROMANIA

Tibiscus University, Timisoara, Romania

As the macroeconomic literature on automatic stabilization tends to focus on taxes we want to study the relationship between GDP and fiscal revenue for Romania during 1990-2008 using a simple linear regression model. First we determine the parameters of the model, and then we establish the intensity of the correlation model using some of the indices of regression. In the last part of this paper we verify the linear model considered statistically by using the Helmert test, Durbin-Watson test, Student test and Fisher test.

NEW ASPECTS  OF THE MACROECONOMIC INTERVENTION

IN ROMANIA

Tibiscus University, Timisoara, Romania

The economic crisis showed negative effects especially during the last year; we would wonder then, how could appear the present economy without the active and preventive measures of pushing back the poverty from Europe, in order to diminish the disparities which affect the quality of life for all citizens. Paradoxically, in our country we can not observe the wages rise as a result of the increased productivity which followed up the cost-cut in all activities. Macroeconomic policies and the governance play a fundamental role in order to assure the economic construction at its imposed nominal convergence index.

THE PERFORMANCE OF THE ROMANIAN BANKING SYSTEM

Tibiscus University, Timisoara, Romania

The performance of the Romanian banking system is due mainly to its modernization. The dimension of the modernization process is related to: restructuring of the banking system, recapitalization of banks, elimination of non-viable banks, and privatization of large state banks. Legislative and regulatory measures implemented by the Romanian National Bank have also led to performances in the banking business. The commercial banks have diversified their portfolio of banking products and services and have developed retail banking and corporate banking. Banks, as large financial intermediaries in the economy, have contributed to maintain the financial stability.
